20g of Art Clay Silver Metal Clay is all it takes to make one of these great looking bracelets, including the toggle. That's a Double Delight!

In this class, taught by Pattie Phipps, you will learn the tricks to creating a great bracelet with minimal materials, including a toggle with only one 20g packet of Art Clay Silver, syringe and with or without one focal bead. Two different looks, two great bracelets as seen in Fired Crafts Magazine June 2008 issue.

Skill Level: Beginning/Intermediate Level.
Prerequisite: Basic wire wrap experience.

 

 

Essential Materials/Tools Needed for projects:
* 20g packet of Art Clay silver 650 Slow Dry per bracelet
* 10g Art Clay Silver paste
* 10g Art Clay Silver syringe with tips
* Paint Brush (#1, #3 or #5)
* Coil Roller
* Underlay Mat
* Needle Tool
* Tissue Blade
* Graph Mat
* Clear Roller
* Palette knife
* Craft knife
* 4x4 Teflon sheet
* 6" ruler
* Rubber Block
* Agate Burnisher
* Particulate Mask
* Sanding Salon files or Sand paper 180-600 grit
* Stainless steel brushes – long or short bristles
Sharpie black permanent marker - fine point
approximately 26-30 Pre-made 16g, or 14 g, or 18 g silver jump rings
(size of your choice)
1-Focal bead

Additional items you may want to bring to class:
* Needle files (Do not mix your files. Use one set for
   filing clay and one set for sterling silver.)
* Dental tools or small carving tools
Apron
Note book to take notes
3x5 note card
*** Round nose pliers
*** Flat nose pliers
*** Chain nose pliers
*** Flush cutters that will cut 14-18 gauge wire
Copy of seller’s permit if you do not want to pay
taxes on non-tool items

These items are available at Michael’s Craft Store:
Scissors (short about 5”)
Templates (Small circles/squares/triangles, et cetera, if you have any
Texture sheets-Vinyl wallpapers work the best for above projects
NOTE: Deep texture tiles WILL NOT WORK for above projects
Small cookie cutters (about 1/2” - 1” size)
